BG Raymond

Managing Partner, Potomac Location

Raised in Bethesda, Maryland, B.G. Raymond is no stranger to pizza. He began his dough-slinging days at a former family-owned and operated restaurant, Il Forno Pizzeria, where he did everything from wash dishes to wait tables. In 1991, he began managing Il Forno’s Frederick location, where he met his wife, Kristen. Together with his old school buddy, Adam Greenberg, he has managed Potomac Pizza and the Potomac Cone Zone ice cream shop. After much success, the second Potomac Pizza in Kentlands opened in 1999. Next, Adam & BG came to own Potomac Village Deli, which is now catering only and is located in our Kentlands location. B.G. currently resides in the Darnestown area with his wife Kristen, his son and daughter, and two bull mastiffs, Max and Kona. Committed to local community services, B.G. serves on the Board of Directors for the Potomac Community Center and also works closely with the Montgomery County ASPCA during their annual Dog Walk.
